EXCLUSIVE: Personal Terms Agreed: £50m England star set to sign Arsenal deal before January as Mikel continue to build a squad capable of winning champions league.

In recent years, Arsenal has fought exceptionally hard to retain the services of several of its important players.

Arsenal has had an eventful year, with the club successfully extending the contracts of several of its greatest players. Emirates Stadium has secured contracts with William Saliba, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, and Reiss Nelson. After such a spectacular season in which they nearly overcame Manchester City in the Premier League title match, Mikel Arteta and his squad certainly had an easier time convincing their players to approve the proposition.

Because of their foresight, the contracts of Mohamed Elneny, Cedric Soares, and Jorginho, who have another year left on their contracts, are the only ones set to expire in the summer of 2024.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s exclusive Daily Briefing piece, Arsenal are poised to discuss a new deal for important defender Ben White, albeit it is unclear when these negotiations will take place.

White joined the Gunners from Brighton in 2021 and has proven to be a major success at the Emirates Stadium, with Mikel Arteta also having a lot of fun shifting him from his customary position at centre-back to a new one at right-back.

White has adjusted well to his new role, and it will be fascinating to see how his career develops in the coming years, since Jurrien Timber will undoubtedly battle with him for a spot once he returns from injury.

There’s also the question of his international career, which has yet to take off, though Romano believes the 25-year-old will be a hit for England at some point soon.

The fact that only Thomas Partey, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Karl Hein will be departing the next season, barring an extension, demonstrates the North London club’s strategy and approach.

The prospect of new players joining Arsenal must excite supporters more than the current squad, but it must also be amazing to see its stars commit to the team’s future. Arsenal is an attractive club to work for due of Arteta’s culture and the team’s rising direction.
