Arsenal ‘seriously considering’ paying €60m for signing in January – Fear player could ‘pack his bags’

Arsenal was reported to have shown interest in Real Sociedad player Martín Zubimendi throughout the previous two transfer windows.

The Gunners aren’t willing to give up on the 24-year-old despite their inability to land him. As to Fichajes.net, Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing him in January.

Mikel Arteta was quite interested in the midfield player during the summer transfer window, but the North London club gave other objectives priority, therefore this transaction never proceeded.

The Premier League team is rumoured to have elevated Zubimendi to the top of their priority list for January.
The report states that Arsenal is “seriously considering” triggering the €60 million release clause on the Spain international.

Arsenal’s pursuit of the player “looms over San Sebastián,” according to Fichajes.net, and supporters of the La Liga team “fear” that he may “pack his bags” the following season.

The article just discusses Arsenal’s position; it says nothing about Zubimendi’s willingness to move to the Emirates.
