“Don’t tell me he’s a brilliant player, he didn’t impress me at all and he’s NEVER part of my plans“- Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta confirms ‘phenomenal’ star will never play under him again despite being a fans favorite player

“Don’t tell me he’s a brilliant player, he didn’t impress me at all and he’ll NEVER be part of my plans”- Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta confirms ‘phenomenal’ star will never play under him again, despite being a fan favorite.

The ‘phenomenal’ player Arsenal sold this year is unimpressed with Arteta.
Matt Turner has stated that he wishes he had played more for Arsenal, but he believes he learnt a lot during his time with the club and is grateful for the “amazing memories.”

The United States goalkeeper, who will play for Arsenal in 2022-23, was taking part in a Q&A on Men in Blazers, with fans questioning him about his career.

Host Roger Bennett relayed a question from a Gunners fan asking Turner what he thought of Mikel Arteta’s revelation that he intended to make a mid-game goalie swap in two games.

“I don’t know,” Turner admitted. “To be honest, it doesn’t make me feel any better or worse about anything.

“I had a fantastic time at Arsenal.” I learned a great deal. I wish I had played more obviously, but being in a title charge and having all those fantastic memories, you couldn’t really put it into words.

“So, yeah, it would have been nice.” I’m not sure, but in the end,’show me, don’t tell me,’ you know what I mean?”

For perspective, Arteta made the admission after replacing Aaron Ramsdale in goal with David Raya against Everton in September.
