“I’m seriously amazed of his qualities after his performance in the weekend, i never knew Arsenal have such a young player with this kind of mentality”- Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala lauded Arsenal’s 21-year-old star’s performance over the weekend.
Jamal Musiala was blown away by the performance of the 20-year-old Arsenal loanee yesterday.
After returning to action for Motherwell yesterday, Jamal Musiala sent a message to Arsenal loanee Mika Biereth.
Biereth joined Motherwell in August and has had a promising start to life in the Scottish Premiership.
The 20-year-old scored and assisted on his Steelmen debut shortly after signing but has been sidelined with a knee injury ever since.
He made his long-awaited comeback yesterday, as Motherwell were held to a 3-3 draw by Ross County at home.
And the Arsenal youngster continued where he left off with another fantastic performance.
Biereth came off the bench for the final 15 minutes of the game and soon earned his team a penalty. The Dane converted his penalty kick and went on to provide an assist, allowing Motherwell to salvage a draw after falling behind 3-1.
Now, Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala has praised the youngster on Instagram following his performance on Saturday.
Mika Biereth, a young Arsenal player, receives a message from Musiala.
Biereth turned to social media yesterday to express his joy at being able to play for Motherwell again.
“Nice to be back!” he wrote.
Tino Livramento and Brooke Norton-Cuffy, for example, both made comments beneath the post.
Musiala’s response was two heart emojis.
Of course, Arsenal have been linked with a bid for Musiala as Bayern try to bind the youngster to a new deal.
According to 90 Minutes, Mikel Arteta’s men are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Musiala’s predicament at Munich.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will pursue the German star further. They do, however, have some outstanding young players coming through the ranks right now.
Biereth has impressed in Scotland so far, and despite only appearing three times for Motherwell, he has two goals and two assists.
He spent the previous season on loan at RKC Waalwijk in Holland, and after joining Arsenal from Fulham in 2019, he appears to have a promising future ahead of him.
