The Gunners dominated the proceedings from the off at the Emirates Stadium. Both Martinelli and Bukayo Saka were key figures in the final third of the pitch.

Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for the Gunners in the 29th minute from a Saka assist.

The latter scored a goal of his own after a sublime through ball from Martinelli after the hour mark.

Arsenal restricted Sevilla to just one effort on goal. It was a complete domination and in our view, Martinelli had a stellar showing against Sevilla’s backline.

The Brazilian star was full of running throughout the game and he got the better of their defence, winning a stunning 11 duels and completing nine dribbles.

With the win, Arsenal have moved to nine points in their group. They are four points ahead of PSV Eindhoven and Lens, who are second and third respectively.

They host Lens at the Emirates Stadium after the international break and a victory in that game would ensure them qualification to the round of 16 with the top spot.

The Gunners had a minor hiccup with a 2-1 loss at Lens earlier this season, but they have responded in the perfect manner by beating Sevilla in the next two games.

Mikel Arteta’s side will now return to Premier League action against Burnley at home this weekend and should be fancied to secure another comfortable victory.
