“Arsenal have a better player than Chelsea’s most expensive player and he’s even a better goal scorer than all Chelsea players”- Man United legend Rio Ferdinand says Arsenal have a ‘better player’ than expensive Chelsea fraud.

After scoring in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Burnley in the Premier League yesterday, football analyst Matthew Upson believes Leandro Trossard is the club’s best scorer.

The London giants endured a 1-0 loss to Newcastle United at St James’ Park last weekend, but they responded perfectly with a two-goal victory over Vincent Kompany’s side at the Emirates Stadium.

Trossard opened the scoring for Arsenal with a courageous header at the back post before collapsing against the woodwork. After the break, he provided an assist for William Saliba to make it 2-1 for the Gunners.

Upson told Premier League productions in the 82nd minute of the game that Trossard has made a fantastic impact since his arrival from Brighton & Hove Albion and has been a wonderful purchase for the club.

He is a considerably better player than Mykhailo Mudryk for a lot less money, according to the acclaimed expert, and he believes he is the best finisher at the club since he is incredibly accurate and clinical with his chances in the box.

“Trossard has made a significant contribution, demonstrating his versatility once more,” he remarked. What a Brighton signing he has been. I truly believe he has been a quality purchase for Arsenal, as well as a fantastic finisher.”

“In my opinion, they have a better player for a lot less money (than Mudryk).” He’s perhaps the club’s best finisher, in my opinion. Technically, if you look at his goals, left and right foot, in and around the box, he’s really accurate and clinical.”

Trossard was given the no.9 jersey after Eddie Nketiah was injured against Newcastle. He opened the scoring for the club against Sevilla in the Champions League and repeated the feat against Burnley.

Gabriel Jesus is close to returning from a hamstring injury, but Trossard deserves to preserve his spot even if the Brazilian is available when the club resumes Premier League action following the international break.
