“He annoys me so much, he shouldn’t be allowed into the dressing room, let him pack his bags and leave”- Ian Wright was spotted shouting and yelling at Arsenal’s player after his disaster performance against Everton

Ian Wright is enraged after seeing footage from Everton’s Premier League match against Arsenal.
Ian Wright was irritated after video emerged of a player going offside during Arsenal’s match against Everton on Sunday (18 September).

The Gunners’ number nine was slightly offside, and the former Arsenal striker believes he is aware of the regulations and should be more cautious.

It had little effect on the outcome, as the visitors won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Leandro Trossard.

“This annoyed me more than anything,” Wright remarked in the Premier League Productions post-match show at 6:48pm. There’s nothing to complain about because we know what the margins are. It’s something that irritates me. Get back on board, because that may happen.”

Kind of harsh

Before the season began, the message was clear: they would not look for even the smallest of offsides.

There’s also the possibility that Nketiah did not receive a pass and simply got lucky with the deflection off his teammate.

There wasn’t much to give this an offside to the naked eye, so Wright is being a little harsh on Nketiah in that case.

Everton’s performance was a textbook illustration of how not to play, and they will get demoted if they continue in this fashion.

The Toffees put forth a poor performance, and Sean Dyche will face questions if things do not improve in the coming games.

It needs to be seen how he handles adversity, as some of the players should be dropped because they are underperforming.
