“He is READY and available to play against Sevilla in the Champions League tonight, i really count on him”- Mikel Arteta was delighted to reveal that the €32 million Arsenal star is fit to face Sevilla tonight- Not Partey, Trossard, or Saka.

MIKEL ARTETA SAYS HIS STAR PLAYER WILL BE ON THE ARSENAL SQUAD TO FACE SEVILLA
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed Aaron Ramsdale’s comeback ahead of the club’s Champions League group stage meeting with Sevilla.

The Gunners’ unblemished start to the Premier League season continued last weekend with a 2-2 draw at Chelsea. They appeared doomed to lose, but a late rally earned them a point.

The club will be hoping to get back on track in Seville tomorrow, and Arteta has confirmed Ramsdale’s availability after his absence at Stamford Bridge.

Due to the birth of his first child, the 25-year-old missed the journey to west London, but he will be in the matchday squad to face Sevilla at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

ARTETA HAS MADE A DECISION TO TAKE OVER IN GOALKEEPING Ramsdale has been second fiddle to David Raya in goal since late September. He has only appeared in one game, a Carabao Cup third-round victory over Brentford.

Following Raya’s underwhelming performances in the last two games, we believe the €32 million-rated star should be banging on the manager’s door for a starting spot.

Raya was jittery early on against Manchester City and was fortunate not to concede on two occasions. Declan Rice’s goal-line clearance saved his blushes.

His faulty judgment of the flight of the ball against Chelsea contributed to Mykhailo Mudryk’s goal. He also gave Chelsea possession at 2-0 but was able to redeem himself with a stop.

Ramsdale was demoted to the bench despite having done nothing wrong this season. It remains to be seen whether he gets reintroduced into the starting lineup against Sevilla tomorrow.
