“He’s the most underrated Arsenal player under Arteta, it’s a pity that Arsenal fans don’t appreciate him well enough after all that he’s done”- Pundit claims Arsenal’s sensational 23-years old star is the most underrated player under Mikel Arteta- Not Tomiyasu, not Ben White and not Trossard
“He’s the most underrated Arsenal player under Arteta, it’s a pity that Arsenal fans don’t appreciate him well enough after all that he’s done”- According to one pundit, Arsenal’s stunning 23-year-old star is the most underappreciated player under Mikel Arteta. Not Tomiyasu, Ben White, or Trossard.
Forget Ben White, 23, has emerged as Arsenal’s most underappreciated player under Mikel Arteta.
Over the years, Mikel Arteta has had various underestimated players at Arsenal, but Emile Smith Rowe has now surpassed them all.
Because of injury and then competition in the Arsenal group upon his comeback, Smith Rowe’s talent has been overshadowed.
And this comes on the heels of the 23-year-old’s performance against Chelsea yesterday.
Many people were eager to praise Leandro Trossard for his goal off the bench, and rightly so.
Smith Rowe and Kai Havertz, on the other hand, had a more quiet part in the comeback.
Havertz is currently demonstrating his unassuming talents as a focal point for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Smith Rowe, on the other hand, is still not getting the credit he deserves.
Arteta has previously expressed his enthusiasm for Smith Rowe’s return to Arsenal, and he has now turned to him in two crucial situations.
Smith Rowe was trusted while Arsenal were losing in Lens, in addition to his outstanding cameo last night, developing and carrying the ball with such authority.
Many people believe that Smith Rowe’s future in this Arsenal team is bleak, although he continues to play a key part.
Smith Rowe is still on Arteta’s radar at Arsenal.
Of course, Smith Rowe is now considered underestimated, despite formerly being held in the same respect as Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
A player’s quality and potential do not vanish overnight, even if they have been unlucky with injuries.
And, as Smith Rowe works to improve his game both physically and intellectually, as he mentioned in a recent interview, he will be able to perform at those heights once more.
The paucity of chances or evident faith in the last year or so must have worried fans.
But Arsenal supporters must remember that Mikel Arteta was the guy who brought Smith Rowe through in the first place.
And if Saka was celebrating Declan Rice’s well-deserved performance yesterday, they may soon be doing the same with Smith Rowe.
Arsenal’s ‘Croydon De Bruyne’ is regaining his footing and will soon be back at the top of his game.
