“You can’t allow him to join Real Madrid” – Mikel Arteta told to do everything by stopping £89 million valued Arsenal star from Joining Madrid next summer because he’s better than Bellingham

Bellingham, who made a notable move from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid during the summer, has undeniably showcased his prowess as one of the top talents in football.

His seamless adaptation to life at Real Madrid has only reinforced his standing in the football world, making him a coveted asset for any team.

While the consensus might be that Bellingham would seamlessly integrate into any football squad globally, an Arsenal fan asserted that there is a player in the Gunners’ lineup who they wouldn’t part with to accommodate Bellingham – none other than Martin Odegaard.

In a recent interview with talkSPORT, Darren Bent delved into the intriguing hypothetical scenario of potentially swapping Martin Odegaard for Jude Bellingham at Arsenal.

Despite acknowledging Bellingham as a superior player, Bent expressed his reluctance to replace Odegaard, especially considering the latter’s role as the captain under Mikel Arteta.

When Bent was confronted with the prospect of swapping Odegaard for Bellingham, he acknowledged Bellingham’s superior skills but emphasized Odegaard’s significance as the current captain of Arsenal.

Bent stated, “I think Bellingham is probably a better player. But for where Arsenal are right now, Odegaard being the captain, I’m not swapping the two.”

Bent did express a willingness to make a trade under different circumstances, suggesting, “Yeah, but not in that position. Listen, I’d swap Kai Havertz in a heartbeat for him.

I’d play Rice, Bellingham and Odegaard. There’s your three. But I’m not going to take the captaincy off Odegaard and say off you go.”

The acknowledgment of Bellingham’s exceptional talent doesn’t go unnoticed, with Bent recognizing him as a once-in-a-generation level talent, capable of playing anywhere in the midfield.

Despite Odegaard’s sensational captaincy for the Gunners, Bellingham’s versatility and skill set seem to elevate him to the next level, creating a compelling argument for his inclusion in Arsenal’s lineup.

While Bent acknowledges the positive trajectory of Arsenal’s progress, he acknowledges that the timing might be a bit late for the club to be genuine contenders in the race for Bellingham.
