“He’s a player i envy so much and wish he plays for Manchester United instead of Arsenal, he’s a TOP CLASS”- Manchester United Legend Rio Ferdinand says Arsenal’s €35M star is arguably the best player on planet- Mot Saka, Not Saliba and not Declan Rice
“He’s a player i envy so much and wish he plays for Manchester United instead of Arsenal, he’s a TOP CLASS”- Former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand believes Arsenal’s €35 million man is the best footballer on the planet. Not Saka, Saliba, or Declan Rice.
Pundit believes £30m Arsenal player is undoubtedly one of the finest in the world Every now and then, an unfancied international squad develops a pair of great players who can carry a nation.
Wales did it with Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, Denmark did it with the Laudrup brothers, and Hungary did it even further back with Ferenc Puskas and Sandor Kocsis.
Norway currently has two players who are the envy of the global football in Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard, but they aren’t putting it together as well as they should.
Indeed, Norway has failed to qualify for Euro 2024, and Mark Schwarzer, speaking on the Optus Sport Football Podcast, has struggled to explain why they haven’t qualified despite having Haaland and Odegaard on the same team, calling the pair as possibly the finest in the world.
Odegaard is regarded as one of the world’s greatest philosophers.
Schwarzer discussed the £30 million Arsenal striker and Erling Haaland.
“Let’s talk about Norway; we always talk about them being underachievers, and Wales is a great example of that in the past with Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey, but what is it with Norway? They have arguably two of the best players in the world right now in Odegaard and Haaland, but Haaland barely got a touch of the ball.” “What is it with those two world-class players not being able to string together performances and results?” Schwarzer wondered.
Norway must figure out how to harness the strength of this golden generation, or they will live to regret it for the rest of their lives.
Any squad with Odegaard and Haaland blazing on all cylinders should be able to compete in any competition, but for some reason, neither player clicks on the international stage.
Something has to change on that front, because if this continues, Norway will miss out on what could be a wonderful age of football.
