‘They are too small to win league, I would say this without being afraid of their fans’: Micah Richards picks who’s more likely to win the PL this season – Liverpool or Arsenal

Micah Richards believes Liverpool are more likely than Arsenal to win the Premier League this season.

Richards appeared on The Rest Is Football and addressed Liverpool’s chances of winning the Premier League this season.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently tied on points with Mikel Arteta’s side, both one point behind league leaders Manchester City.

This season, Liverpool and Arsenal appear to be the two teams most capable of challenging City for the title.

The Reds have only suffered one league defeat this season, a contentious 2-1 loss against Tottenham.

Arsenal, on the other hand, is yet to achieve their greatest form this season but has consistently produced excellent results.

However, Richards believes Liverpool are more likely than Arsenal to win the Premier League this season.

According to Richards, Liverpool is more likely than Arsenal to win the Premier League.

“I would say Liverpool,” he replied. “Just because Salah and by all accounts Van Dijk had a really good game today.”

“He did have a good game,” Alan Shearer commented. He returned to his best, reading the game extremely effectively.

“And they are always going to score goals Liverpool, with the talent they have up top.”

Based on their early-season record, both teams appear set to push City to the limit.

Of course, Klopp has the advantage of having already defeated Pep Guardiola’s men to a title, whereas Arteta’s men fell short last season.

But Arsenal’s best is yet to come, and you’d think they’ll only get stronger as the season progresses.

City have also struggled in the early stages of the season, but they had a similar start last season before winning the treble.
